This summer you and I -- and now Susan -- have managed to create a schism in the family. I would like to see it ended as soon as possible and have our family get back to being a basically loving and happy family.
I, for one, am sorry for anything I have said or done that has hurt you.
Today I finally got approved for the experimental drug (3tc) I'd been trying for. Chances are good, though, that you will outlive me. I do not want to leave you -- or anyone else -- with broken or damaged family relationships after I'm gone.
Let's start this over as it should be.
